Feature and documentary films
The forum has been held annually since 2013 by the Department of Cinematography under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States.
The event was organized in order to support talented youth, discover new director names among the Forum participants, create an environment for young filmmakers to perceive cinema as an art, improve the quality of films created, and involve the young generation of the countries involved in the process of intercultural dialogue.
The program of the Forum includes competitive and out-of-competition film screenings, round tables, master classes by leading filmmakers, creative meetings with filmmakers, premiere screenings of debut films, as well as special screenings of laureate films from prestigious international film festivals around the world.
Within the framework of the forum, two competitive programs are held: the Competition of National Films and the Competition of International Films.
Based on the results of the selection by the jury, the laureates in each competitive program are awarded prizes in the following nominations:
“Best movie”
“Best Director”
“Special Jury Prize”
“Diploma Special Mention”

Terms & Conditions
Young directors, graduates of film schools, film faculties and director training courses, as well as graduate students under 35 are invited to participate in competitive programs.
Fiction, documentary, animation films up to 40 minutes long completed in 2020-2022, films in national languages with Russian subtitles are accepted.
To participate in the selection, you must submit the following materials to the Forum’s email address:
application for participation in electronic form;
link to the movie (with password);
director’s photo (separately attach – no smaller than 300jpq)
frames from films 2-3 (separately attach – size not less than 500jpq)
